Situated alongside the Village Green and the River Lyne lies West Linton Bowling Club, which is open from April to late September for outdoor green bowling, and from October to March for indoor traditional Scottish Carpet Bowling on Tuesdays at 7.00pm

Presidents Welcome

A very warm welcome to all. From April to September, our members can enjoy playing green bowls on our excellent outdoor green. Visitors can play for a small fee and there are bowls and shoes in the Clubhouse, that can be used either by visitors or by new members until they obtain their own equipment.

Bowls can be played by people of all ages so whether you want a nice friendly game in the morning or afternoon, or wish to join the competitive bowlers who enjoy playing in the many competitions and leagues, don't let another year go by without giving bowls a try. Playing bowls is a great way to make new friends so why not take the plunge and make 2007 the start of your bowling career. The Club is lucky enough to have some excellent bowling coaches who will show you the game and tell you about the etiquette.

Throughout the winter a wide variety of events are held in the Clubhouse, ranging from Bridge, Bingo and Whist to Carpet Bowling, Jazz Nights and Dances. Contact any committee member for an application form for membership and for more information on the Club.
