Linton Books was established in the village in 1994. New books can be ordered quickly, most within 24 hours. You can buy and exchange Book Tokens here. There is a well-stocked Children's Corner. We also sell maps, guides, postcards, CDs, cassettes and audio books.

Fax and photocopying facilities are available at very competitive rates.

If you have books to sell, we are always interested in second-hand books of Scottish interest.

We stock books on most subjects but specialise in Scottish fiction, history and topography; the Pentlands; Borders interest; hill walking, equestrianism and country pursuits; prose and poetry by Scott, Ramsay, Hogg, Buchan, Stevenson and MacDiarmid.
