West Linton Village Garden Opening |
On Sunday the 10th of August six gardens in West Linton are open under Scotland’s Garden Scheme from 2 – 5pm.

From approximately 8am until 7pm on both Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th August the C3 West Linton to Penicuik road (the Moor road) between Upper Whitfield and Harelaw Moor will be closed. |

I thought that this attached article may be of interest to visitors
of the website and members of the Community, mainly because it places
the Whipman event of West Linton in a national & international
context!!!
Some background information; Mensa is a high IQ society (www.mensa.org.uk)
with about 25,500 members in the UK. The Society ran a photography
competition this year to find the British entry for the International
competition, and lo and behold, the 2004 Whipman picture made it!!!!
